We were a check station for archery deer for five years. This saved the hunter time when he wanted to get his deer processed because he could bring it to our shop directly from the field without having to stop somewhere else and check it in. In 2005 the DNR allowed hunters in Southern Illinois to call in their archery kills -- so please remember to do that before you bring your deer to us.

We offer a "fast turn-around" for those hunters who venture down to our neck of the woods for hunting but are on a restricted time frame.   Depending on the order, we can usually get your deer done by the next day (usually mid-day).  Due to the fact that many orders requested to be done on certain days weren't picked up on time, we have had to start charging a $25.00 fee for this request.

We also accept boneless trim for processing.  The cut off date on bringing in boneless trim is January 10.  You MUST have the DNR information and number from your telephone check in with your meat.  Please have your trimmings thawed for inspection when you bring them in.  All boneless meat must be in small pieces, CLEAN, and ready to be used for sausage.   Any meat we have to trim or go through will be charged an extra fee.

We will be CLOSED for the 3 MAJOR HOLIDAYS (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) and the day after each holiday.
